The Bariatric Office Management Program is an Electronic Paperless system consisting of a series of screens to allow entry of basic demographics, prior surgical procedures, a full clinical evaluation with all aspects of the medical history and physical examination, entry of the presence and severity of ongoing co-morbid conditions, and listing of current medications, linking each medication to a co-morbid condition. Tabs allow easy selection of detailed screens for use by the medical team, surgeon, nutritionist, and psychologist.

Additional screens are designed to schedule and record initial clinical visits, preoperative evaluation, operative room experience, hospital discharge details, follow up clinic visits, reporting of postoperative adverse events, and tracking of telephone contacts. Appropriate screens have a single button to click to pass the required information to BOLD of the Surgical Review Corporation AND/OR to print any of the 8 Worksheets required by the ACS Centers of Excellence reporting.
